RM trapper OP trapper R Joined: Apr 2017 Posts: 2,569 TN/OH	Well I just started trapping beaver a week ago in my aunt's pond and have only caught one but yesterday I had a guy invite me to trap his property on the edge of a river. I went to look it over today and man are they plenty of sign. Fresh chewing everywhere, only thing is that they generate electricity from the dam two mile upstream and the water level changes throughout the day as mush as 8ft. I set two traps on the bank. One on a trail were they are cutting and another under a log where the beaver and otter travel, hopefully it will work out. Also found a new spot at my aunt's lower pond that the beaver had built a dam probably 75ft wide. Here's a few pics
