Anyone familiar with hemorrhage like this? Shouldn’t have had any trauma to the rear section.

It looks like normal bruising from when the deer went down, plus blood pooling on that side from gravity to me.

I butcher a lot of road kills and that looks very similar to the trama I see. Close call with a vehicle maybe?

I would agree. I have cut several roadkills and it looks like normal bruising to me. Cut around it.

I think you read sign purdy good for an old guy LOL. If that is the case it had just happened b/c if it had gone a day or two the bruisin would have shown up in the picture too. Ask Beav- muskrat says he knows it all and I tend to believe anything the old boy shares.
