Yup, mine was $110. But that is the best price I am going to find 0.14 a round. 3x normal.

I bought 500 rds for $30 yesterday. I thought that was bad! I can get them all day for $4.99/50 at a local store.

Local pawn shop has them sitting on the shelf for $12 a 50 round box or $100 a brick. I told him "good luck with that".

When I bought that bunch of guns and ammo from a widow it had 5 of the 555 round boxes and 6 boxes of 333 boxes of 22lr. 4 boxes of 22 mag. almost all are hollow points.
But the big score was the 22 shorts. Solid and hollow point 5 boxes of each . 100 pack

I have to say, the last truck I traded had more loose .22 lr ammo on the floorboard than most people have in their ammo stockpile. blush

Wow.

I used to sell the 500 Packs for $9.86 back in 1991 and they went up from there.

I don't consider myself a hoarder, but over the years I've picked up a box here and a carton there. I like to have shells around for the grandkids to shoot. I also thought there might come a time when I couldn't afford paying the going rate. I suppose I do have a fair amount of ammo put away. I don't think I'll tell how much, as many might consider me a hoarder. I will say this, my wife says if our house catches fire they'll need to evacuate the whole community as quick as possible. Maybe I am a hoarder, and the more I think about in our current situation that might not be a bad thing.
