Skunks are on the move now even seen a few road killed ones I had several calls last week. One guy said I had one but when I got there I had two one not five feet from the other one.

Another guy called said he had a skunk so I go take care of that one and reset re-bait it. The next day he calls and asked if I got that one yesterday I said yep, he says there’s one in the same trap.

Seen a few on the road this morning on the way to work. I suppose it's time, also some coon trails through the brush a week ago.

Buddy raises them the are breeding now, I had one the other day that looked like it got sprayed.

2 degrees here this morning. So they are moving slow, as in not at all. Next week from the looks of it.

Seen quite a few trax today while out for coy9tes.

They are really going to be moving when it hits 60 degrees next weekend! Might have some mud balls tomorrow.

Caught one Tuesday and came back the next day got another in the same trap.

Looks like a nice stripe on that one.

I got one this year, stupid Lacy ignored me yelling no 3 times, she got sprayed, then for some reason decided to try to bite the skunk, got a mouth full of spray, then decided she had enough!

When do they mare? Sure are a lot of road kills in my area.

A couple good hides on a couple of them going to be up into the 60s by the weekend they should be moving more. They seem dehydrated now lacking body mass I had to switch to new syringes as the used ones were not penetrating the hides like when they are solid. Picked up a smaller one the other day it was pretty lightweight.

I bet a blind man could find your skinning shed. Been in the 60s here last few days they are really moving.

How are the pelts on them this time of year.Do they get rubbed or do they shed?
Or are spring skunks prime like spring bears?

A quick stroke of the tail will tell you when they are done for the season they have a few more weeks I’d guess, I test every one this time of year.
