Getting to the point I cannot tell who’s a dude or a gal anymore very confusing to tell who the players are today.

TV commercials are made not only to sell, but to desensitize people in the "trending" changes in World society. Observe and think about what you see and can comprehend.

So you like to know what other guys are wearing?
That's okay. Diversity makes us stronger as a people.

I find it somewhat alarming the number of commercials pushing drugs for various ailments. Pharma is big business, fed by insurance companies. I wonder what the prices of these drugs would be if the insurance companies refused to pay them. A friend of mine at the firehouse and I turned this into a game. Every time we saw a pharmaceutical commercial while watching TV at the firehouse we googled the cost of the drug. Some of them are downright insane. Especially the Hepatitis drugs. Some are over $100k for a year's supply. Try googling one next time you see a pharmaceutical commercial.

He took several different meds that last year cost $128,000 for the year. He didn't have to pay one penny, cost has to be absorbed by someone.

Most of my life, white people were the only ones in commercials. I welcome the diversity.Jim The black population is 13% of the entire U.S. pop, but now the tv commercials are at least 50% or more entirely black or have at least one main black character. Hispanic proportion of the U.S. pop is about 18%, Asian about 5 or so percent, and Native American about 1% (or less). The Hispanics are way under represented on tv commercials and Native Americans almost non-existent. About the only Asians shown are East Asians even though there are just as many South Asians in the world. Of our diversity in ethnicity/"skin color" which of these groups rioted and burned things down last year...? This is the real reason why the disproportionality of the diversity in tv ads; "don't break and wreck our stuff because we're "on your side'". Most middle class and hard working black people were just as appalled by the racial riots of 2020 as anyone else but corporate America thinks they need to be "bought off' now by having a disproportionate number of tv ads. This is a form of racism in a more subtle manner, but still racism...
"And God said, Let us make man in our image and let them have dominion and all the creatures that move along the ground". Genesis 1:26
