There are several businesses in Minnesota that would disagree with your mandate vs law statement. Many are paying big fines for not complying with the "mandate". It's like living in Russia here.

Covid aside, which will likely be with us now indefinitely in some form or another, I can see mask wearing remaining trendy here with the effect it has proven on cold and flue spread. There's been a paradigm shift on how to best control these airborne illnesses. Contrary to American paranoia mask wearing in public high traffic areas is just smart, not some form of government control. Hand shaking and random hugging is something else I can see folks trending away from.

I've come to like it. I don't think I will ever stop. Especially when I go to the bank.

I don't like anything about it. It has fundamentally changed our society to be suspicious of their fellow man, scared that whoever they meet has a sickness and HAS to be avoided. Many make fun of the kids texting each other sitting at a resturant booth, the stupid masks just take that crap one step farther. We have way too much distrust among people now, this kinda crap will end up finishing our great country. Suspicion and distrust are not good for the long time good of this country or the world.

I think this is far from reality. I think it shows more respect than distrust. Ya know.....tomayto-tomato.

As far as the masks finishing our country......yet again I think that's ridiculous. We were already so far down that path, the masks are just a blip effect in my opinion.

I'll wear my mask as required for work and inm places of business requiring it. Other than that I will play it by ear, but probably er on the safe side if those I'm associating with want to be masked. I do not like wearing them in any way, but it's pretty obvious to me that they help. (No, I'm not going to spend the rest of my day engaging in n argument about this as much as part of me wants to.). I will say.....and likely jinx myself.....I'm not aware of a single friend or co-worker who has had a cold this year. Typically there's always someone sick, blowing their nose, etc. That right there tells me masking and social distancing have some level of effectiveness.

If I think or know I have been exposed to someone directly for extended periods who has covid, I will surely play it safer. I.E., avoid others if possible, telework, let my wife run the errands etc for a while.

Masks are stupid a d I am yet to wear the first one, even in store with signs posted on the door. Haven't been spoken to a single time about it. In my small home town hardly anyone still wears one except that is for the couple of shoplifters that have had thier pictures in the paper for stealing but nobody can Identify because of thier masks! 🙄

How about the MORON'S driving around, in the vehicle, wearing their masks? You know they voted for Biden.....!
