swamp donkey OP trapper S Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 95 350 miles SSW of Fort Kent,Me.	Just thought I'd ask what success rate other trappers have had using the bottom edge set for rats in the spring.

But I'm thinking that In the spring rats are more apt to be swimming on the surface looking for a little love. Floats and stools will out preform those B&E sets. And be on the look out for those rat toilets, they are killer sets. A float or a stool positioned near a rat toilet will catch you multiple rats. The forum Know It All according to Muskrat
