Went for a hike to see the new observation tower at Point Pelee today. That's as far South as you can get in Canada without leaving shore. Was a beautiful day [Linked Image]

Looks like a great day to be out!

Life sure is tough when you don't learn from the mistakes of others.

Keep that ice over on your side! They are slaying the big walleyes here on the west shore of Erie.

They're crushing big walleye here as also...the ice is just pack ice near shore and you can get an aluminum boat out no problem. I have been seeing lots of pictures of 6-8 lb walleye on FB this week

Just happy to be here.

Lugnut, lots of steelhead and salmon caught in that area as well.
About 10 miles to the west of there is also more likely to produce the next record smallmouth bass than about anywhere else in Ontario... the guys that target them take some absolute pigs out of there.
I mostly focus on carp and channel cats from shore and largemouth and muskie when I do get out in a boat. My family are not big fish eaters, but me and the kids love all sorts of wild game.

Just happy to be here.
