Ok as most well know I post spring pics of my first mowing of the year. Latest I (my son this year) has waited to mow. Hernias and surgery surgery has prevented me from mu normal spring fertilizer application and Not allowed out side until today. But rain and 70 next week so had my son run over it. But my friends from the north this is what you have to look forward to !!

I have that to look forward to in a month or so. Hope you have a speedy recovery.

It has been a wet and relatively warm winter. Sucks that you have to mow and it isn't even the first day of spring yet, but that sure is a fine looking lawn.

Oh It looks scrawny compared to most years. 200 lb 0-20-20 and pelletized lime then followed by crab grass preventer with 32-0-0 about mid April and it feels like carpet. all year !!
I mow every 4 days but NO TREES and if it wasn't for the grand babies swing set I wouldn't even need a weedeater. circle the house and just keep going blowing it into the uncut grass. Takes me 13 minutes to mow on 3/4 throttle.

still snow on the ground here . not much and it is raining now so won't be snow for long round about May seems like a good time to mow
