I never knew how smart a 4 yr old truly was until she told me. Good Lord. And yeah, some Dads suck.

Went out with my uncle today to put some beaver sets out on a lake behind their house. Made two sets right in their run to the bank den, another on a slide along with a baited foothold set. Snagged this one going out of the bank den, so she must have been in there when we were stomping around setting. Congratulations, you’ll always remember your first beaver. Don’t forget they are good eating!

The weird thing with that Beaver was that we checked the sets after being in the water for about 5 hours, because we thought we might as well hike down in the dark. The beaver was still half in the den too.

Way to go!! Checking traps on a five hour soak, easy to tell you and the unc are excited!
Life sure is tough when you don't learn from the mistakes of others.
