It was a nice day yesterday and my son brought my oldest Grandson down for a major fishing expedition. He was able to use his new "Paw Patrol" fishin' rod and was actually very good with it. We fished one spot and never even got a bite but then walked over to the boat landing where there is a little slough that sometimes is pretty good fishing. Luckily the Bluegills were in there big time. He was able to fight this one into submission and it was his first fish in the bucket. It was neat when other folks were stopping by and making a big deal, high-fiving, and generally telling him he was a great warrior and fisherman. The action got pretty hot and heavy and in the end, the three of us had 32 nice ones that my son and Grandson took home and filleted for supper tonight. Could not have asked for a better first fishing experience for my Grandson. There are many more to come. Moosetrot

Looks like one proud little boy! Nice picture, nice fish!
The difference between animals and humans is that animals would never let the dumbest ones lead the pack.

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....
