I was just doing some reminiscing about a place I lived during 7th grade in 1970. I just found it on Google Earth, the old colonial house is still there but what would be the nearly 300 year old barn is gone. I see the pond is still there, but it looks like the old estate has been subdivided and developed. What a great old estate it was when I lived there, even though I didn't really appreciate it at the time.

I just got to wondering if anyone is trapping muskrats in the pond on the property, it was full of them back then.

These are current picture I found on the internet. I see the pond is kind of choked-out with trees and brush now. Right where the small picket fence is in the back side photo of the house, I was tasked one day with digging up a plugged drain/sewage line. Apparently all the garbage back in the 1700's was just thrown out the back door. It would be an archeologists/antique hunters dream come true today. Wish I had kept some of the stuff I found.
