Appreciate him being on our side, but just because he's the governor doesn't mean he doesn't need to be properly licensed and abide by all laws and rules of the great state of Montana. If i lived there he'd have my vote also.

Anti's accept that animals killing prey is cruel but use a different (or no) logic when a human kills prey. I suggest that both killings are natural and necessary. In distorted theory a wolf could live its entire life without killing anything but plants.

My hat is off to him and his wife for their pro hunting and trapping stance. But someone in his position should make sure they are within the law....... no exceptions. He shot a cow elk by mistake? Like i said hats off to him but he needs more edgimication on animal identification.

according to Greg Lemon, a spokesman for Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks. “We’ve treated this as we would anybody” in a similar situation, he said. “It’s important to us the integrity of our process, no matter who we’re dealing with, is maintained.”
you can vote your way into socialism, but you will have to shoot your way out.

Shooting a trapped wolf while possessing a valid trapping license and a wolf tag doesn't sound like a serious violation. Shooting a cow elk by mistake, Hmm. It does honestly happen but some people turn themselves in when they know they've been found out. Is he a chronic violator who gets caught only once in a while? I wonder what the untold story might be on those circumstances. Nice to have a pro trapper in the lead though. You obviously didn't read the former comments. He is a great governor, as well as the others he works with in office- veterans, totally into love of the Constitution and the outdoors. He is working his tail off in many house bills , shoring up protective firewalls for MT, and in helping to ally with like minded states. If all states had his likes, a lot of garbage wouldn't be allowed to carry on . Leave it always to the press to dig junk up , even on a saint....and I'm not jumping on the bandwagon to render a thousand cuts to a good person. Who of us wants only our imperfection pointed out , with barely credit given to all the good one does ? I for one and totally proud of the brave souls who are really standing up in fighting for our freedom.
