I wouldn't want the responsibility of looking out for it on my own.
Jim That makes at least two of us. You're either incredibly naive to miss all the warning signs 95% of the people here saw coming or you're as disingenuous as I've previously accused you being. I think disingenuous is closer to the truth. I think the odds are much better than even that this country comes to blows with itself before this is over and I don't think that's too far off of the horizon. We're just awaiting the trigger, all the words that need to be said have been spoken.

As I stated above the picture seems very clear to me (I'd love to be wrong) and because of this I truly struggle with patience, understanding and humility with those who don't see what's happening. He sees it and has known it all along.

James,
Perhaps there is now an opportunity to leverage your law career, writing skills, and liberal view point in convincing other folks who learn to the left that the 2nd Amendment should be vigorously defended on both sides of the aisle?
"My feeling is this, give him plenty of time, plenty of birds, and a little direction, and he'll hunt his heart out for me. That's all I ask."

For the record, I've never defended Biden here, never told anyone to vote for him, or said I planned to vote for him myself. (My actual vote is my own business.)
But I was wrong in thinking that his pre-election talk about gun control was just rhetoric. I thought he would realize he had bigger fish to fry and would not want to expend limited political capital on guns. My prediction was wrong. In fact, Biden is now seriously pushing gun control. He deserves the resistance of all gun owners.
If I pooh-poohed someone's doomsaying about Biden's anti-Second Amendment policies, I have to say this: you were right.
Now, before someone posts to accuse me of posting "click-bait," or urges others to skip the thread, why don't you just skip it yourself? Everyone who starts a thread wants to get replies. In this, I am as guilty as anyone else. I'm not trying to make anyone mad, but I would like to incite some thoughtful, civil replies.
Even if they're just to say, "I told you so, James."
Jim Of course James was completely wrong on the 2A issue. And he made another mistake here--It's not enough to admit he was wrong. He must disclaim any dissenting view, swear loyalty to a failed leader, be outraged by the drama of the day and agree to never have another independent thought.

Maybe some self introspection on just why you choose to believe lies?
What lies are you talking about? I made an error in judgment, that's all. I thought Biden had more important issues, like health care, to address. Jim So you still believe the democrat party to be a virtuous source of truth? More introspection for you.

And many didn't and men like James were silent when the gestapo came for them.

Jim lesson for the future , when someone tells you they are bad , reaffirms it repeatedly , don't pass it of as Rhetoric. as Rhetoric is as damaging as the real threat it is either a lie or a lie or it isn't rhetoric and it is the truth. leaving you with two options your being lied to or your lying to yourself. I know your coming from a place where you tell lies , are told lies or lie to yourself. thanks for trying on the truth
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
