8117 Steve R OP trapper Joined: Oct 2014 Posts: 2,009 Wisconsin	With this warm spring and early ice out I think the beaver will start shedding early. I haven't seen it yet, but I doubt fur in my area will hold up until the end of season April 30. Steve WTA NRA

You will see it on the leather side of the dried pelts-they will start to get shady in the flanks and neck once they start shedding. Last edited by Boco; 04/03/21 01:01 PM.
