If my understanding of the exchange rate with the ruble is correct you are getting about $175 USD for one lb of castor? Is that just dry castor as seen in the above picture or prepared castor?
Anyway, 60,000 rubles must make your very happy?! Yes? Yes. great price for me

As Boco stated; that is nearly double what we are getting for our collections of semi-dry castoreum here. Great job!

Thanks for the explanation Kosoi on the castor. Was wondering when I saw them laying down in the pond bank, we would never do that as it puts pressure on the sacs and juice comes out = liquid gold being pe-d away
Do you mind on explaining how yours is prepared to be sold.

Do you mind on explaining how yours is prepared to be sold. I cook just like you. I hang it on a wire, turn it over for the first 3-4 days. then I dry for another 10-12 days. after that I put it in the freezer.

Kosoi, are castor prices going up now in Russia? Does the castor you sell go into the perfume trade or something else?

I got a bunch of sks-they are one tough gun. The prices have gone thru the roof here in Canada now.

He is asking if you saw tracks or sign of your "elk". (Also, I think he is saying that maybe what you call "elk" we may call moose here)? What we call moose in north america.

did not understand your question a little? /did you harvest an elk; later on you said you did "when the wall fell," they were shipping lots of SKS rifles over here so for 400$ you got a shipping container with 10 rifles and 10 boxes of shells plus a small handling fee from a broker

Kosoi, are castor prices going up now in Russia? Does the castor you sell go into the perfume trade or something else? the price of castor has now stopped at around 30,000r = for 1kg. I think that the price will hardly rise. I use 65-70% for a medicinal tincture, which is now very well bought. and I sell the remaining 30% to the same manufacturers of medicinal tinctures
