I make most of my money selling food for animals like that.
Keith What do you sell ?? Looks like that thing would need something the size of a small dog to fill it up.

They are nothing to fool around with. But that is Florida. One more reason to carry.

That monitor is in Thailand . Monitors are a large style lizard that comes in several species throughout the islands in that part of the world, Asia , Australia, and the biggest , Komodo Dragons , of Indonesia. They can be small and live in trees to several sizes upscale in size, to the largest , too heavy to climb well.
They all have in common , the bacteria of their bite that infects their prey , eventually killing them in painful death , of which the Komodo is foremost .
For me, they all sport the perfect target circle for aim, the round earmark just behind the eyes. I have thought it fun someday to aim well with my 300 Weatherby on some Komodos, but alas, they are protected ....even though they have no fear of humans and will chase you in a heartbeat.
I would not do well at all living there....

The difference between poisonous and venomous is that you have to invest poison and inject venom. Thats why there are no poisonous snakes. You can eat all of them iff you cook them through. But some snakes are venomous and are harmful if you get bitten.

"Iheeya"; monitor lizard in Thai, also one of the worst insults you can call a person. In the parks in Bang Kok instead of squirrels they have monitor lizards. Jeff getting almost too close. They will wack you with their tail if given a chance, and it will lay you open. They are an extremely filthy, bacteria laden creature.

Not so fast, there are indeed poisonous snakes. Most notably the keelbacks of asia that produce and secrete toxins from their skin. They are actually dangerous to even touch as the toxins can be absorbed through skin.

sounds like a tournament to me
Machetes and pitch forks in January , the coldest days of the year
entry fee 100 dollars a 4 man team
monitors , iguanas , boas , pythons ect.. any invasive
prizes for biggest , Monitor , snake, and iguana as well as most total.
heads need to be detached and placed in a tote for counting in order to be counted in your catch.
cash prizes and gift certificates for sporting goods stores
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I hate those things would rather run into a poisonous snake or even several barefoot and butt naked
Had a couple close calls with the things while living in Thailand, it’s amazing just how much damage they can do to a house in short order, thankfully their not protected or at least weren’t when I was there

Crank up the AC, that’ll slow him down enough to get a death ray on him. Lol That would be a heck of a rodeo, things are all muscle with nails that will cut better then a razor and a tail that will act like a whip and cut like a saw blade, not to mention jaws filled with bacteria ridden saliva that will cause instant infection And deceptively fast and agile, to see one walking with their slow deliberate pace they look slow but when they want to they can move faster then a man can run and whip around like a snake, and move through the water like a gator They deserve a healthy dose of respect when dealing with them, definitely nothing to take chances with their or fool around without proper care and attention
