Most of you folks are just so confused. You sided with the traitors attacking the police at the Capitol and then you side with a cop illegally taking a man's life on the street. I'm no longer surprised at the nonsense that is so common on here.

Someone trusted on the national stage is going to have to make a declaration that if the nonsense doesn't stop, lethal force will be the next step. You light a building on fire with people inside...that used to be considered attempted murder, now it's basically sanctioned. The country is being held hostage by leftists who operate with borderline impunity. Something has to give.

I could care less about Chauvin, he could be the worst swine of a human, but the rule of law applies to the most despicable among us if each of us is to remain safe in the enforcement of the law. Simply put the state failed to prove beyond a reasonable doubt yet the mob swayed justice.

Next they come for the rest of us "white supremacists".

His Captain, Two sargeants , a paramedic that was there and tried to give aid and a training officer all said he was wrong in what he did. And that was not the way he had been trained. Subdue and handcuff then flip over on his side.

Why there be trouble because he is found guilty ? I suprised as usually they found not guilty on anything most time but not always

I've never tried a criminal case but I know a thing or two about juries. Of course that jury was influenced by the politicians, media, social changes, rioting and fear of a not guilty verdict on their own lives.

I didn't watch every minute of the trial but had it on in my office most days. I like watching trials and it was good background noise. The evidence arguably supported a manslaughter conviction. In my opinion, 2nd and 3rd degree murder convictions were not supported by the evidence. But juries often don't follow the law--they follow their passions and fears.

My biggest issue with this whole situation is that our country has lost its collective mind. I spend a lot of my time defending civil cases where hard working men are killed in the oilfield. I have defended many cases brought by their widows and children. These men were contributing members of society who took care of their families, worked every day and paid their taxes. They didn't commit crimes or do drugs. I have never paid a settlement anywhere near the $27M Floyd's family was paid. He was a low life, criminal waste of space that is now some sort of martyr. Unbelievable.

Woke culture, fear of the cancel mob and white guilt are going to destroy this country.

The worst thing happening---many look at Floyd as some kind of hero,when nothing could be further from the truth.

We have become too often a culture of division. Pick your team, but it's not as popular now in some areas (not most) to be from the tribe that settled this land in the major way (white/straight/male/Christian).

Some of us feel like Uncas, son of Chingachgook in the movie "Last of the Mohicans."

Of course, he did die in that movie
