Why not try the tranny fluid, pb blaster, dawn mixture someone posted the other day, I think that looked promising to stop the rust and it would be cheaper

I think trap dip mixed with rendered coon fat is the ticket

Fluid film oil bound help stop more rust sone in existing rust , shpuld be warmer to apply do have wait till nice may weekend come up, a gallon in sprayer should be good, I didn't apply enough in past , I do rember see big flakes rust fall off in reaction to oil , probly hit it again in oct , otherwise if nothing, gonna start rot with rust an fall apart, my other old truck should be junk as save as dire emergency, rusted an frame practically rot with rust, unsafe to put on hoist , not spent a penny on it in 2 years other gas an 1 oil change, if rusted brake line blows again, have be junk unfortunately , have cost ins an license yearly which not much
