Just wishing them good luck, I wouldn't want to see them go under. Very slim chance of that after the lessons learned in the 90's. The banks dont own FHA like they owned NAFA.

FHA rocks and so does Boco.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

And Cathryn was spot on from her source. Couple of you chuckleheads owe her an apology. As if. Seems like it’s encouraged to have trappers back bite on this site. It’s sure not discouraged. Thanks for the fresh REAL news Cathryn. I’ll be sending you a couple skinning tips you may not know. I’m not interested in sharing with the people who constantly provoke. We are going to see a lot of stuff coming out would be my guess. Most that are carrying FHA's water either have no skin in the game or it is their only source to sell fur now. You won't see any of them say they were wrong. Won't happen. LLL

I have had no problems bringing wolves , Lynx , Wolverine through Pembina ND there for 38 years. Both tanned from international fur dresser in Winnipeg and Raw through NAFA. A piece of cake and price was cheaper. Plus a lot of places to have the auction , big dome building in Grand Forks and other places to hold a auction. Nice hotels. At least you can have a auction with in person buyers. I bet you would have had a better turn out and better prices received for trappers if or had been in Grand forks few ago. Your there to do business for 2 or 3 days of inspection 3 days Of the auction. But if you guys think it’s a bad idea so be it. It’s set in stone. MD

Probably be easier to move the border down 78 miles and make that place part of Manitoba. We don't want to be part of Canada.

"You all" implies me. I personally couldn't give a crap If the internationals could get through the Bidenites at Mpls airport, not a bad drive to Grand Forks via I-94 and then I-29. Grand Forks also probably has a couple hopper flights from Mpls if they timed it right. The choke point would be getting through customs/immigration in Minnesota. Just tell Hunter Biden that the Chinese are part of the Chicom companies he's affiliated with, no problem with customs then...

Only way trappers will get any type of changes with FHA Auction is if a survey Is taken by all shippers of Fur for the last 8 years or so on what they what to see in the future from FHA . Not 5 key ideas but 50 ideas put on the table.Plus a separate Survey For the buyers mailed out to every buyer that ever attended a auction the last 8 years. Publish the results and then go with the vote on what can be changed to make things better. No board of directors involved just straight trappers on consignment side and Buyers on the buyers side. Board of Directors would only have a say so on implementing the new plan not making a plan. My comments are not to sling mud on the powers to be of FHA ( board of directors or FHA employees or trappers ) . They have done a EXCELLENT job with what they had since what 1686 with the old Hudson Bay Company but it is time for new thinking. The only way to do that is if every trapper and every buyer has a opportunity to get his ideas in front of the decision makers in writing and have his ideas at least recorded on the record. Try something even if it is just for 1 season because what we have as a seller and a buyer at auctions is not working. We can speculate all we want but need to vote on a plan for next sale and the next season at least. Just my 2 cents worth. MD

"Canada is a huge country. Most of it is unfit for human habitation by weaklings." "Even outside of the red line, Canada's population is mostly very close to the US. Ninety percent of Canadians live within 100 miles of the US border. Maybe they just really wanted to be close to America." Fixed it for you^^^ Just the way we like it north of the line. Couldnt be any better if it was planned.

You guys are jealous of Canada and Canadians. Your country wishes it could be like Canada.Besides wanting to copy our great Trapper owned and run auction house,You are trying to copy our common sense gun laws and trying to copy our gold standard universal healthcare system. You are slowly getting there-just haven quite figured it out yet.
