2s or 3s will work on both. Jim
Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

I wouldn't use the 3n on Fox myself. There's one gentleman on here ,I believe from Nebraska, that has used the No.2 longspring on coyote now for years.I'd consider them.

If you will be dealing with a lot of domestic animals I wouldn't recommend double long springs. Releasing them will be difficult. I have never heard anyone mention the above, but it is a real reason, and a reason I am very particular of locations where I deploy a long spring trap. I can hear it all now, "I have permission, the dog does not" etc. I am not as concerned about letting a non target myself, although it would not be as easy as a coil spring. I am more concerned about some person walking their dog, catching the darn dog, then the owner trying to release the dog. That is going to be a workout and in my opinion it is going tough for the average person to 1. Figure it out 2. Be strong enough to break the trap down. Yes I understand the trapper may have the right to be on the land. I have absolutely zero confidence in out legal system. The reasons are many. But when police are not allowed to bet police and have to kiss someones hind end of it is a dark color, or expect to be called racist or other names for stopping the blanking criminals, you can see the country swirling around the bowl. Judges turn butt holes loose all the time. You constantly hear of ludicrous judgements brought forth by the weak liberal communist judges. This country is not what it once was. Mac
