So I wash off boots awhile back an hung one on hanger in cellar where not get real hot except maybe 80 in summer, spay an wipe with armor all, I unroll other rubber cheaper pair an lay out on on some funny sacks stack on top stuff an armor all, so it posted that asking as not store in summer an keep folded , the folds cause cracking ? I seen that in buy new gauntets a crease an kinda crack mark , I think but some cheaper boots on sale if go on sale , I don't think there rubber const , so it not good idea leave in box over summer in room in house folded up like they come new , the folds in time are bad ?

I think? Hang them straight down. Most are cheap junk that only lasts a year or so either way. I had a pair of boots that came from an army/Navy store once. Three-quarter length sewer boots. The out lasted any hip boot I ever had by about five years. But they were cold, no insulation whatsoever. Probably made from actual rubber. Never could find them again.

Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

Yes the cheapy pair I got are frogg toog with no insulation other lite cotton lining but all rubber construction I got around a year ago for $50, still some tread but where them early in fall for land an water both an likely leak in first week or 2 nd week, have a pair Dan's expensive boots, some tread left, they went thru part 2 seasons, always need get at least a pair a year, wear cheapys at first for land an water combined as tall wet grass on land , don't want much insulation early season , I see the rubber ones must went up as farm fleet as for $64.95 on clearance now, not worth that , hard find ecomical price good boot, thiesens has a 3 ply camo heavy ins boot for $90, wait to see if go sale, there not rubber an not sure what construct of, polyethenlene ? Have had trouble with those crease an then crack an leak in past with use , some gauntlets hold out better others also
