The Boy wanted holsters for his toy guns and made some out of cardboard but the kept ripping off his belt when he did his superhero rolls in the yard. Lol So I got some PVC rain gutters I had laying behind the shed for a few years and had him dig up a half bucket of sand. Used a tin foil turkey rooster to heat the sand in the gas grill. Made a mold out of foam while it was heating up then put the gutter piece in the sand till it was very flexible and flat, then we laid it on the mold put his gun on top and folded the PVC over it, pressed the other half of the mold on top and dunked the whole thing in a bucket of water. First one failed totally the second one worked but the third turned out about perfect. I trimmed them and he spray painted them. I think they turned out pretty nice. They hold firm but don't make the draw too heavy

They have orange tips and I usually put orange tape on the bottom of the grip when he has his toys in holsters but him and his cousin are making a movie with these and he knows they do not under any circumstances leave the yard with those toys on his hip.

What a sad time we live in.

Well we strapped the holsters to a belt and he is pretty happy with the finished product.

His grandma took him to Goodwill and he bought the belt and two dog collars for the project with his nightcrawler money.
