They arrested this pastor over the weekend. Some of you may have heard about him, since the case has made the national news. Here is a Canadian lawyers perspective on the case. Its amazing what is happening up here and how fast its moving. Canadian's may have already lost. It seems we are sliding down the slope into full blown communism at a rapid rate, with citizens in some areas not even allowed to leave the "zones" they reside in.

What is noteworthy about the Canadian government shutting down churches and arresting pastors is the fact that the rules are not being applied fairly or evenly. A good friend just flew from Toronto to Vancouver and she said the plane was filled to capacity. Now this lady isnt political, but even she mentioned that it makes no sense to allow airlines to operate, but not churches. I dont think there is any doubt now that christian churches are being targeted.

Can they not still worship god without breaking the laws? It's not like theres only one doctor saying this needs to be done to protect people but hundreds and thousands agree this needs to be done. Worshiping in fellowship during a pandemic to me is not a requirement.

Do you not have laws that protect religious freedoms on Canada? In the USA it would against constitutional law to infringe or pass another law that infringes on Religious freedom

There are higher laws than those made by man and government and the founding documents of the United States acknowledge such.
