Sent in beavers, skunks, rats, fox, mink last order took 2 1/2 months. Quality was exceptional on everything and no slippage but one rat that had about a two inch tear. Sent to Sleepy Creek bout 4 month ago. Called them and they said they are running about 5 months out. Sent them some coon and a few of odds and ends. First time using them and heard alot of good reviews can't wait to get them back.

Stupid mail service is what is frustrating to me.
I sent Moyle three beaver, an otter, and a fox on April 21. USPS told me it would arrive on April 28.
LOL
It arrived yesterday... Could be worse, I sent two boxes and I got a panic call that got me going because they arrived seperately and couldn't find the second box

It arrived yesterday... My last fur box arrived pretty close to when USPS said it would to Moyle's but wasn't received until 13 days after it arrived. I emailed them at about day 9 of waiting and they responded saying they were about 2 weeks behind in opening shipments and getting them put into the system. If it wasn't received after 14 days I was to call them back.

Thank all of you for the responses. Must be my fault. Is it common for one ear on a hide to have slippage and the other to be good? Any thoughts on what I can do in the future to help with this? Thanks again for timely resonses. This was not meant to be a hit on Moyles, as I said always had good luck before. No holes as with some others. I was actually more concerned with quick skinning and drying this time as I knew I was going to tan them. This is the first time I have had ear slippage, with any tannery. If I know I'm going to tan something instead of market it as dried fur, I've started just stretching everything fur in, skin out. Less maintenance and worry about areas potentially slipping. I just make sure the fur side is cleaned up and mostly dry.

I borax my head area even with cartilage removed and have never had a problem. You have to make sure that area is dry before shipping because like badgerboy14 said they may be a few days behind opening the boxes and letting your fur hang and air out
