jv220 OP trapper Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 278 sw iowa	We have been looking for a new vehicle for quite sometime...never thought we would ever buy a new vehicle again...used car prices seem completely ridiculous though.... have been looking at 4runners... they are still on a real frame... true four wheel drives.... which would be advantageous for where we live... who has one ? Do you like it? My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government. Thomas Jefferson

white marlin trapper W Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 6,490 central Haudenosaunee, the De...	had a 2002 and loved it. its frame eventually rusted out. other than that, the only problem I had was when the transmission cooler burst and fried the transmission. even though it was out of warranty, the local Toyota dealer cut me a huge break on a new transmission...more than half off the "book" cost.

DWC trapper D Joined: Apr 2011 Posts: 2,449 SE SD	Im in the same boat, but in looking 07-13 or so. Even the high mileage ones are pretty pricey. Im probably gonna just end up getting a 4 door pickup. Need to fit 2 car seats and im not giving up my offeoad ability. Ford and Chevy dont really make a true suv anymore that has any ground clearance and room inside of it.
