Ever thought of buying a beater car for $800. Wear it out and sell it to demo derby guys for $3-400 when it gives you problems. Way better gas mileage.

If I understand where I think its cracked, look up exhaust band clamp.

These things WORK for cracked pipes.

You'd be better off to cut a piece of exhaust pipe that would fit over the cracked spot, goop it up good with some sort of exhaust sealant and clamp it on with muffler clamps. Still a band aid fix but a lot better one.

can you get over it with a good soup can cut and wrapped , seal it up with Napa exhaust seal and a couple muffler clamps or air craft clamps could have a fix for 10-15 dollars

any more expensive than that and cutting it out and putting a 30 dollar muffler on starts to make more sense

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Why would you even drive a truck with a broken frame?

Once your exhaust system starts to rust out time to change it, they just keep going and cause more problems. Some worse than others I did have a car once that after several times of changing a pipe in the same section, i figured out it was a low spot in the pipe that built up condensation and I drilled a small weep hole and corrected the problem.

Nope, bandage won't work and you've tried it before to know they don't work.
