One ritzy housing development I used to drive by forbid parking a pickup truck in the driveway. Had to be garaged.

I’ve lived in 3 different subs with hoa’s. The first 2 were worthless and didn’t enforce anything. The one I live in now is a little over zealous, but we have 4 different swimming pools, basketball courts, 3 separate gyms, 9 tennis courts, corn hole court, bacci ball courts, and 3 amenities centers for meetings or parties ect.! It works for me, keeps property values up.

I work for a lot of wealthy people in gated communities and it's beyond me why any outdoorsman would want to live in a HOA or POA. All it takes is for one flaming liberal to move in and make everyone miserable. I like to keep my neighbors a little farther away than most of these places

The answer to your problem is to buy the property nextdoor if you want control what goes on there. O you can't afford it or want to spent 6he money on it. So try to use government force to control someone else's property. Typicall Democrat anti freedom mentally.


I did some tree work in a development that had a HOA for individuals and the HOA common areas.
Went to their meetings got aproved to do the work. It went ok for the individuals and even the common areas but the more I was there it became apparent how control hungry and into everyone's business they were.

The last time they called me I declined the job and to even give them an estimate. I don't remember what my issue was any more just that it was not worth the trouble and they were not people I care to be around or do work for. I will not by choice ever live where there is a HOA.
