Hard to tell from a picture. Did you take it? will weigh about the same as a hog of the same size

I'm getting a mixed reading on that bear. First I didn't know there were cinnamon bears there. It has an ear tag. Fish and game can probably tell you a thing or 2 about it. If that is a what 20 gallons trash bag that gives you a size scale. My first impression is a young bear mainly due to it's small narrow looking head---and the ears look big--- which they are on black bears but should seem smaller on a big bear. Big bears have big butts -- and that one doesn't seem to. At any rate it seems like a 1/2 way decent sized bear but not a big one but need a few more pics at different angles to tell more.
I'd shoot it for meat and that fancy colored rug. If you get it, dress and bone right away. Don't hang bear meat like deer because it will sour quickly. Bone it out, get some Leggs # 10 breakfast sausage seasoning and grind it up with 20% pork fat--- then call me when breakfast is ready.
you can vote your way into socialism, but you will have to shoot your way out.

I hope a few wander west 150 miles or so. Plenty of feed for them here. I have a suspicion when one does the farmers and ranchers fall back on the 3 s's though.

I'd shoot it for meat and that fancy colored rug. . The bear's coat isn't cinnamon, it has just shed most of it's gaurd hair and the wooly brownish underfur is showing. Bear weights are hard to judge at medium sizes.....I'd say 175-200 liveweight.

I would agree with all the 180 guess's. By the way, it would weigh the same even in another state.

I’d say that bear is about 150lbs, it is a cinnamon, and I’m leaning towards it being a male. My guess that it’s a male is the only thing I’m not sure on.
