Dave, try this for some extra money, and Im dead serious. Take 50 bucks and go to your local auction barn, buy boxlots for 1-5.00 each. Spend the 50 there then go to your local flea market and set up. It will cost probably around 10 bucks or so. Get there early, take 3-5 tables and lay all that stuff out and charge 1-5.00 per item. I set up all the time and do OK. Some days are a bust, other weekends I kill it. It was a bad one for me last weekend but the guys next to me did 600 each- granted that wasnt all profit but they did great and were out of there by noon.
Anyone else care to advise him with other endeavours that dont include working for the man- we know how that goes.

Love the lot boxes at the auction, I don't resale but load up on them for a buck or so you can find something that justified you spending a dollar. The junk I don't want goes to the mission place or trash for me.

Put a sing on there that says the stuff is "vintage" and probably sell more. Coonman could sell some cleaned up critter skulls (can you all sell critter skulls in Iowa...?) and rake in some more coin...

This might not sit well with some but walk RR lines picking up discarded spikes, or buy them on CL for $1 each, clean them up a bit and weld up stuff. Sold 5 of these for $40 each before Mothers Day.
