If you're in Fishkill but you don't have time to go anywhere more than a few minutes, at least drive down the Hudson and see West Point. It's pretty neat to see from across the river, just to say you saw it. Also, another "only have an hour" type of thing... Go to the Orange County Chopper store. They made it like 10 years ago (also where they filmed the show and you can see through the plexiglass into the garage). I have no idea if they still make that show or not, but they used to have a ton of bikes in the store they made, really really well done, and I think because it was "their place" and not some tv owned thing. It's at 14 Crossroads Ct, Newburgh.

Looking online it might be a restaurant now? I don't know but originally it was just "a nice store" with no crap and reasonable prices.

Oh west point is close to Fishkill?
My youngest brother was in west point when I lived there

Fishkill is about 50-60 minutes north of me going up I-84.

A buddy of mine is a guard at the prison and he's got some dandy stories.

No prairie there, rocks and trees mostly, and a lot of houses lol
