Boco, you get permission from the queen for that pistol permit yet? To be fair aside from those of us that live in constitutional carry states most of the folks in the US need permission from the crown to carry handguns. Not if you open carry.

Joe will probably tell him the Corn Pop story again. Can you imagine what would be going through Putin’s mind if Biden told him that story to show how tough he is.

pike river, try some open carry in madisin wi, boston or san francisco or if your really feeling macho times square.
Bottom line is probably half of U.S. citizens have no gun rights recognized by their state. The other half can have their gun rights taken so fast and so easy it ought to have your head spinning. Supremes have refused to do their job and protect your rights. Instead, being lawyers, they like to twist things up according to their personnel political leanings.

We live in a country where cash is now illegal. It can be and often is, siezed by L.E. without a warrant of any kind, without charges of any kind brought against the owner. If a dog trained to "alert" when the handler tells it to, or even if the handler just says it did, yep, no warrant needed. In order to exercise your right to own a firearm you must first pass a background check. Not just to see if your a convicted murderer but if you yelled at your kids and were convicted of the domestic battery charge of verbal assault. Game wardens can tresspass in your hay meadow under the "open field" doctrine. if a corporation wants to build a mini mall on your property, the city will take it under imminent domain paying whatever they they decide its value is.
I get a little tired of hearing how free the United States is. It started out with individual freedom being paramount but we are not there now.
P.S. I dont care that people in other countries often have less freedom than me. I only care that here, we Americans, have given up the birthright gifted us by our ancestors over 200 years ago.

P.S.S. I am way more than a little tired that the biggest reason our freedom is constantly eroded is the "war on drugs". I might could tolerate some loss of liberty if the "war on drugs" was real and if it was working. The fact is not only have we lost freedom but the "war on drugs" has created street gangs, encouraged corruption in government judiciary and law enforcement the likes of which we have never seen before. The worst thing of all is ANYBODY that wants to get high, in any county in the United States, can find any drug they want, without even looking very hard.
