OK GUYS I NEED SOME IDEAS!!! I just bought a new Polaris Ranger and I need some ideas on setups for it. I'm thinking of maybe a raised box on the back that covers 1/3 of the bed but tall enough so I can fit 5 gallon buckets under it. What do you guys think? Lets see your trapping UTV setups.
I went to Lowe’s hardware and bought two large heavy duty storage boxes with swinging lids. One on each side of bed and it leaves room in between for a couple milk crates for drags and such or buckets. I carry traps in one and everything else in the other. I have a Polaris XP 1000. Don’t know if other sizes have same bed. Could use a rack on front for animals.
I made a plywood box for my UTV. It has 2 drawers in the back, 1 for baits and lures, and 1 for all the tools you use. 2 large trays on top for traps and 3 cutouts for 5 gallon buckets of waxed sand. I take off the dump box and bolt this box on.
I also made this anchor that folds up, if I get stuck. I have a winch on the front and back that I can pull with. I got stuck 3 miles back in some pastures and had nothing to tie to. During a snow storm, thank goodness for cell phones. The rancher still had trouble finding me and it was getting dark.

Way, way way, too coordinated and "pretty" Larry! ! !..................... An '84 rusted-out Ford 150 with a jumbled mess in the back is more my style (never stuck - just temporarily "detained"). LOL ........... the mike
I bought a rack for my utv off ebay, It attaches to the holes in the top of the bed on your Polaris, sticks up about 10" or so above the rail on the bed. seems like I paid $110.00 for it. Sure gives a lot more room. I think I searched UTV racks and found it. I put 2 of those low shipping boxes on the rack and 2 heavy duty storage tubs under the rack Works good for me

I use a lot of buckets, and I was tired of all my gear getting soaked, so I made this last summer. I did exactly what I wanted, and it kept my gear concealed from the eyes of "busy bodies". The tarp is still in good shape, and I'm sure I'll get a couple more years out of it.
