I’m in the process of starting a skinning machine build. I’ve recently seen a “roller style” machine that wraps the hide up opposed to using clamps. If anyone has made one like this pictures would be great. Pros and cons of either style would be appreciated as well, thanks

I build a horizontal one and really like it. Just food for thought

I can move mine were ever I wants since it's free standing. Inside outside or in a trailer. And the area your working on is always at the same level on the critter. If your dispatching with a gun seems they bleed a little less horizontal.

If I were to ever switch from my original design, I'd go with the roller style.

Monster Toms on here builds a real good roller clamp. I bought one from him a couple years ago and have had real good luck with it. Only used it on coons and coyotes. I believe his name is Todd Fairchild.
