So, I had two Browning trail cams, and both developed problems or simply quit working after a year or so.
Just got a Bushnell.
Hopefully it lasts a little longer.
What has your experience been?

I have had decent service out of my Bushnell cams. I have 4 right now and they stay out year around. I have had a few failures after 5 or more years. I had one get chewed by a bear and pulled off the tree. It was still working when I picked it up. I took one of the cases from another Bushnell and swapped the guts.
I have a few year old Tasco from Wally World and it takes great pics and has phenomenal battery life. I picked up another last year and it wasn’t the same. It lasted about 3 months and quit fortunately I had paid the 2 or 3 dollar service plan so I got most of my money back.

Very good experience with bushnells for me.

I’ve had problems with pretty much every brand I’ve used once they got a little age on them. I’ll say that I’ve liked the browning cameras a lot, and their customer service has been top notch. If they’re a year or less old, browning will take care of you, possibly even older.

I had a browning cam that was over a year, possibly close to the 2 year mark that broke. Not only did browning replace it for free, they sent me an even more expensive model. Can’t say enough about my experience with browning customer service.

I’ve had good luck with both, but have liked the brownings more. No issues with them for the past couple seasons

I run 15-20 cams every year and I've yet to find one that is far superior than the other, but I've definitely had better service out of Browning than the Bushnell's. My best cams are 5 year old Moultrie cams that work great still but the newer Moultrie not so much. Good luck hopefully you got one of the good ones

Used to run bushnell trophy cams exclusively, about three years ago I started buying browning and think the Browning’s are overall a bit better? Just my field experience as we run about 10 cams every year.

All I ever ran have been Bushnell type I have had a few issues but have taken a lot of great pics and videos. Some issues might of been the cards messing up and not the cams every time.

I doubt Browning makes their cameras. Still could be a good camera.

Just the opposite of your experience. Started off w Bushnell. 2 of 3 failed in the first year. Of the 12 Browning I have had, only 1 has failed over 5 or 6 years now. So I try to convince myself to start replacing the old Browning but they really haven't given me a reason too.

I have had both brands but prefer Browning. That's not to say the Browning is vastly superior or light years ahead in technology but just slightly better overall in my opinion.

I’m not sure I’ll be buying anymore standard type trail cameras though. The cellular cameras just seem to be able to offer so much more for the money.

i like browning. i learned that the battery trays are the weak link on them. i run external battery packs on them, problem solved!

With all the positive feedback in the Brownings I will have to give one a try. Like others have mentioned I have tried several and none really were heads and shoulders over the rest. I forgot to mention that I have tried two different Cabelas cams over the years and both were terrible. Fortunately it was back when Cabelas still had a good warranty.

Have you contacted Browning about the cameras? Also have you checked to see that you have not formatted the cards incorrectly. I have been running Browning exclusively for about 7 yrs now and not had an issue with any of them. 3 or 4 have more than 100000 on them

Sorry I didn't finish that or get it correct. 3 or 4 have more than 100000 pics on them 3 or 4 have more than 300000 pics on them and the one that stays in the yard has more than 750000 on it. Only time I have had an issue is when the SD cards were formatted incorrectly. Check that before tossing those cameras

The covert cameras used to be great and they had real good service too. That was 10 years ago. Now I have a mix of brownings and bushnells and only 2 coverts let(but this are old).......jk
