Do we give them.
We picked up our stove from Lowe’s last week. We have been receiving notifications to not forget to pick up the stove. Today they put the payment for it back into our account.
How long do we wait before we call them and inform them of their mistake?

My brother and I went to Sears to buy a new stove for my Aunt, and when we got it to her house to install, the phone was ringing. It was Sears calling to say our warranty was about to run out and did we want to purchase an extended warranty????

I’d let things ride and see how long it takes them to figure it out. You’ve got the stove. Just don’t spend money on something else, on the outside chance they eventually want it back. In my book, that would be considered stealing. I expected you to be a upstanding person.

Well we called and made them aware. Now they have taken it out twice. We now have to call again and try and get that sorted out, in the meantime we have an extra $740 tied up.
I knew this was going to aggravate us trying to do the right thing. Lesson learned.

Yup, should have just waited. I respectfully disagree but what ever………… Doing the right thing isn't always the easiest thing.

I bought a new range a couple yrs back from home Depot . They said the couldn't deliver it after a couple of attempts because of too much snow . I got tired of waiting and went and got it myself . A couple of weeks later they called and said our new range was ready for delivery . I figured karma would show up sometime later so I reluctantly let them know I already had picked one up . I'm sure an extra stove would have helped make up for all the BS I've delt with from those idiots but figured it wasn't right
