Bad storms moved thru last night and boy did it pour. But that's not the half of it . 50 mph rain. I go out into my garage and just happen to open the fridge door. NO LIGHT . Ground fault plug tripped. I unplug everthing on it still wont reset. Ok first thought the 26 year old plug gone bad. BUT first I go to the front COVERED porch that is 15 ft wide. Open the cover on the exterior plug and water runs out. It rained so hard during the wind it blew in and got into a sealed covered plug. Replaced the plug after drying out box with a hair dryer. We have never had that to happen

We got a good soaking the past couple days and the heavy winds missed us. No watering the garden for a while and no pick up sticks either

We got rain and I'm so happy. I just put out 50lb of buckwheat for my bees and was needing the rain so it will germinate. Looks like a non-issue now. So once it's up and growing a few weeks I will plant another 50 lb next to it and hope for more rain then.

Stager planting for longer bloom time.

it has been drizzle to heavy rain for about 12 days on and off not one day without a little drizzle

luckily not much for wind or strong storms since the 18th

hopefully it will get the rivers to normal level they were all running low a foot or 3 depending on the dams

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

It’s rained here for a week maybe more. Never missed a day without rain. Lots of days heavy. Total for event was 11.75 inches. My fishing is messed up to say the least

I haven't had rain at my place in a week. Everything is hurting it's so dry. Some of my trees are losing their leaves. I water my garden for a couple of hours every day. The only farmers whose crops are surviving are those with irrigation.

The difference between animals and humans is that animals would never let the dumbest ones lead the pack.

That's cool. When the clover comes on in the yard, I leave it for an extra week or more to let the honey bees work it over. Don't know how much it helps but that's what I do. I plant white clover in the yard instead of grass seed. Less mowing, better ground cover, and food for the bees. Plus it looks decent and can take the dry weather

Down here in Columbus we got 4" in two hours yesterday afternoon. According to my gauge we've had right at 9" since this past Friday, most of the wheat is cut but there are a few fields still not cut around here. Like my old neighbor used to tell me about to much rain," Try raising something without it". He had been through the dust bowl days. We'll probably be praying for rain in August. Hope you get those 500 acres cut soon.

We were getting very dry here. Corn was starting to curl up. Got 4" in the last 2 days. Spotty though. Some places didn't get near that much.

Not complaining about the rain just glad I found the tripped GFI before the 2 deep freezers full of pigs chickens and cows thawed. But I grill everyday so I would have noticed it.

We got smacked with 2 thunder storms in 2 days. first one we got 1.8 inches of rain in 40 minutes had a little hail mixed in that one, The second one also rained hard but only lasted about 20 minutes not sure how much rain fell with that one. Supposed to rain all day tomorrow. We did need the rain but it sounds like we were not nearly as bad off as some other areas. The thunder storms that came trough were very localized. just intense narrow bands that moved though, so a mile or two away didn't get any.

Dry here. This is the only time I never mowed my lawn in the month of June, usually in June it gets mowed every 5-7 days. What rains we have had have been spotty with various amounts.

Firework shooters have been warned to be cautious and to have water close by when setting off their fireworks. This is the driest spring I can ever remember.

Lakes are low. Creeks and small rivers barely moving.

Crops are yet surprisingly looking good. Corn leaves roll in the pm but seem to recoup by the next am. I suspect the yield potential has been damaged.

At my acreage 3/4 inch of rain in the last 30+ days.

This in NW Iowa.

I ain't complaining. Yesterday was the first day without rain in a week. Weather people are saying rain daily for the next week. Much better than bone dry 95°- 110°+ we've been having
