This 4 men and 2 women crew tore off and nailed back on a 40 square this morning and a 28 sq roof after lunch. Temp is 96 and humidity is around 65%.

Short of workin in a foundry I cant imagine a hotter place to be right now...

Metal would be even worse. These 2 jobs were laminated comp outfitted with continuous ridge vent. Plenty hot enough for this gringo

They earned their money no doubt. Whenever I drive pass one of those highway asphalt pavers in the summer and can feel the heat coming off it inside my truck with the ac on, I think to myself that would maybe be the worst job.

Used to do HVAC work and paving work. HVAC in the attic is way hotter than the paving. Eric

Haha we won't mention anyone's uncle but yeah I prolly bumped those same rafters with my own hard head back in the day.

Eric, you might be right an attic is a no go zone after about 10 am here. That is part of the reason I am a continuous ridge vent fan

A good crew of them can put on a show for sure. Had mine torn off and replaced a few months ago, they also did it in one day. I put on the last set of shingles and consider myself a worker but I paid them this time lol

That’s what you see when you look down the banks of the Red River near Winnipeg.

During my Mexico hunt a couple of years ago the guides AC went out in his truck on the 5 hour ride to camp…he never even realized it until we finally said something when sweat was pooling in the seats, lol. He asked, you want me to roll the windows down?? It was a unanimous YES!

Ah phoey Andrew I can't even let myself be seen on a sidewalk or fishin next to a road or the women folk rear end each other cool

WFH that crew is mostly Guatemalans and if anyone can out work the Meskins it would be them. Wanna be, I invited the foreman into my air conditioned truck a few weeks ago and he put his coat on after about 3 mins.
