Haven't got to do much lure testing this year, I did get a few cameras out though. I did really well with Waynes Gitter Gun food lure on cats last year, so I really wanted to see how they would react to it. So I put it in one of my best known cat spots, and of course I got 0 cats on camera, but I did get a good amount of coyote activity, especially considering this is not a very good coyote location, in my opinion, or perhaps I don't know coyote behavior all that well, or possibly both. I really enjoy seeing the way coyotes and cats react to lure, and I wanted to share here. Let you guys see how they react to good lure, and how long good lure lasts. I never reapply when testing lures, and I put this lure on the face of the rock facing the camera and also in between the rock and the bone. I like to let them have easy access to the lure, to see what they will do to it, so I know how to use it correctly. Enjoy.

if you want to try Waynes Lure you will have to call him to buy it. This is his house number 575-676-0001. I can say with 100% confidence he is the best turd I know, and he makes some pretty good turd lure. Call him and send him some of your turd money so he can buy his turdself some more turd things.

P.S. Wayne is a turd grin

Very cool MM. Amazing how long that lure held interest for coyotes.

Nice vedio, you can learn a lot from trail cameras even if they are not your films. No one knows coyote behavior, we all just know little parts and we try to put them together to make a whole animal but nature rules. Thanks.......jk

And the possible differences between the way they react to it fresh or aged after a little cooling off time

No problem Mac, and I didn’t mean to change the main topic of Michaels post. Boys if you haven’t tried it yet... Mr Derricks “ One Leg Up “ shined for me last season.

Cool stuff MM, one thing I noticed is how the coyote straddles the rock when he marks it. I'll second his One Leg up, makes um pee.. especially the adults.
