I went to Runnings today the boss wanted me to find some .45 ammo for our annual qualifying standards so I popped into see what they had in stock. Found the shot shells for dove and trap and slugs, a kid that worked there asked if I needed some help I said I was looking for some .45s.

The kid puffs up and says we have a lot that just came in and walks me over to the end of the counter and sure enough ammo and popular stuff. Well the .45 stuff is the defensive type but the 9mm was $20 a box CCI Blazer copper cased.

I say give me 2 boxes of the CCI 9mm the kid looks at me and says I can only sell you one box!

I just laughed and said I’d take 1 box then. LOL

Went to Cabela’s if a guy was loaded and owned a 28ga he would be set for years but at $34 a box they seemed spendy.

wonder if your department can get set up with Black hills and you just put in an order once a year ?

Bought CCI Blazer in 9mm just before the ammo shortage. Didn’t function well in either of my 9s., Friend had two misfires. We each bought plastic containers of 550 rounds, I think. Been awhile.

Plenty around here, but prices are still stupid high. I think the prices will start coming back down to normal if the stores sit on full shelves for a while so I will not add to the buying unless it is something I have to have, and that isn't likely any time soon.

Runnings had a full stock of firearms the rack were loaded a good choice of handguns also.

I talked to the guy at the door at Cabela’s he said the same people come in and strip he shelves when they do get ammo in.

Yep seeing a lot of places dropping their prices as of late.

Fleet Farm is putting ammo on the shelves instead of on the back counter. It doesn't go as fast as it was going.

Then they resell it, God bless America!
