Do you plan on using them or purchasing them?

What's your animal to go after Wolf or Beaver?

How do you plan to utilize them on your trapline?

I'll buy one and make a clock out of it. Have done this with quite a few larger traps. They make great gifts. Don't trap wolf and have enough coils and longs for beaver. Has a nice look

That's a neat idea. I might have to do that some time.

Any word on when they're supposed to come out?

From Bill today.... "The Pro Series 850-OS for wolves is expected around October 1. The 850-FJ for beaver may be a month after.
Shipping from overseas is a huge challenge right now, but we are managing through it."

I won't use a trap that wasn't tested before being put on the market.

If it makes a track on this earth , I can catch it.

And you know a trap was "tested" how? By reading that it was in some catalog?

I'll probably try some on beaver. After handling them at the NTA I am favorably impressed with the build quality. If the ones off the production line are the same as the display models, (and Bill assured me that they are) then they are actually very well made.

Ontario guys...(Boco?)
I won't be able to check regs for a few hours today. Would this be legal in water in Ontario, South of French/Mattawa river line?

Just happy to be here.

Looks like a really poor design for wolves. IMO.

Why chop off the sides of the jaws ? All that does is reduces the clearance for a large foot. The pan is waaaaaay to big relative to the interior space between the jaws. Toe catches will result IMO
