Local McDonald's is paying $15 per hour starting wage. At $15 you would think they could hire someone who could put a carton of fries in a bag upright and not completely upside down. Guess that's asking too much ?

You're probably lucky someone showed up to work to put the fries in the bag at all.

I have stopped there once a week for the last 3 weeks and everytime upside down all dumped out.

Was at our county fair today and there was a sign or several signs seeking help and the signs indicated up to $10 for adult workers. I don't know the type of work or hours etc, but it does show not everyone is paying $15-$20 an hour.

I don't think they are going to find anyone for $10 an hour. Around here they can hardly hire anyone at $15 for entry level low skill jobs. And employees with friendly and courteous attitudes toward the customers are a thing of the past. Never seen so many rude unprofessional people at jobs these days.

Not every job is worth $15-$20 an hour. It will be interesting to see if these starting wages stay this high if and when things get back to "normal".

Our local McDonald's, you order coffee with crème/sugar and a burger, you get black and the pickle is in the bag,not on the bun!

Do they pay that for part-time or "seasonal"work when obama roled that out years back our mc donalds cut hours to 39 part-time no min. wage

I might go to McDonald's if they start serving a venison burger.

Walmart here is starting at $18

Walmart in Beaver Creek CO. has a sign out front advertising $19.50 for entry level jobs, I assume that's for the Jamaican's pushing the carts back into the store. Slowwwwwwwwly. Or the seniors citizen greeters handing out masks. I have to wonder what kind of inflation is headed toward this country.

The guy at the local tire shop this am ,said Dunkin Donuts is paying $15/hour, more then he is making at the shop.

I prefer B.O.B. fries. I'll eat the burger over the bag to catch the drippings and extra sauces so that they land on the fries.

No, didnt complain . Im pretty sure management could care less.

The small glimmer of hope that someday - just maybe , those fries might be in that bag upright keeps me coming back.

I heard a Walmart ad on the radio offering up to $21.00 an hour starting pay.

The Columbus, Ohio police department radio ad is offering $66,000.00 a year to start and $106,000.00 after 4 years on the force. They want minorities and "nontraditional" candidates to apply.

Amazon is offering $24.00 an hour plus large sign on and retention bonuses.

The stores and gas stations around here, that were 24 hours are no longer 24 hours.

Most small restaurants here are closed on Tuesday now.
