Was driving in from work listening to a local programming. Someone called in claiming a social media blackout for citizens of Australia along with lockdowns. Any truth to this?

I could find anything but maybe someone else will have better luck.

I understand Australia was under lock down recently.

Just talked to my buddy that lives there today. He is in or near the ACT. He said they got to go back to work yesterday, they are coming off a 3 week lockdown. things are weird over there but i do think the media is exaggerating it to some extent.

They went full Gestapo. I heard on the radio today one Ausie lawmaker was suggesting everyone be required to get facial recognition and respond to authorities within 15 minutes to verify location. Completely random calls.

The Australian politicians that implemented this need to die.

This is why you don't give up your guns. The administration who asks for your guns may not be a dictatorship... But 20 years down the road you might have the kind of government that arrests you for a fb post protesting covid measures.

The fools hung themselves. They can either live with it or fight their way out of it.
