Just bought an Affinity 3, curious on your thoughts/experiences. I love the gun, but had to shim the butt stock down to be able to hit anything. Shoots real nice though!

My wife shoots the same gun and she is deadly with it. It has been a great gun so far.

My boy shoots one and it’s been great. The only problem he has had is it wouldn’t consistently eject fiochi 3 inch steel shot. His gun is chambered in 3” and not the 3/12. Those shells are just a tad bit longer than federal or Winchester and he has had no problems cycling anything else. It’s as good as my benelli you’ll probably love it.

I have a newer Affinity 3, and Franchis made in the 90’s i think. - 612 vs and a 620 vs. had the 620 about 20 years and finally found the 612 a couple years ago for a reasonable price. All my buddies have berettas or benellis for twice the price. Maybe theres something to it when youre shooting hundreds or thousands of rounds a year at waterfowl, but my franchis have never failed me pheasant hunting. Great guns and i haven't paid over 600 for any of them.

I've had a Franchi Renaissance Classic O/U in 12ga for several years and I love it. Its light to carry and swings nicely too. Great all around shotgun.

I bought a Franchi Affinty 3 for my daughter and liked it so much I got me one also. We love ours and have killed dove and turkeys with them. Great guns!

Awesome! I shot mine the other day and couldn't hit the broadside of a barn! After patterning, it seemed to shoot high, so I shimmed the buttstock (comb) down and have done pretty well since...we'll see. I'm hoping that there aren't too many things that can go wrong with them, seems like a very sound gun.

Most European guns are made to shoot high because they float the bird. They don’t cover a bird with the barrel they float under it.

Not much to go wrong with them. The inertia driven system is the best I’ve ever used here in montana. We hunt sometimes in below zero and all the gas systems seem to become single shots. We can shoot cases through them and hardly have to clean them. When it’s real cold we clean a little more to keep them functioning.
