Depends on the dog. I fed diamond large breed puppy and puppy chow to my last pups with no problems. Started my pup now with it and she had terrible dandruff and blotchy color. Switched her to Hills large breed puppy and she's done great with it!
Gotta live up to the nickname...

We have been running my pup on Purina puppy chow (12 weeks old now) and he seems to be healthy and happy on it.
Just happy to be here.

Check the list and make sure what you feed doesn't have more that 21% protein, over can lead to kidney problems. I always feed a puppy vitamin pill also.
