Windy and sunny today the carp were hitting the crawlers hard it was very hectic trying to keep up, trying to bait one pole and the other is getting hit the wife had 2 fish on a crappie rig at the same time twice it was a hoot. That sounds like a blast. I'd like to catch a mirror carp some day.

That had to be a crazy good time. I accidentally snagged a big one last night while I was casting a crankbait for walleyes and I had my hands full for quite a while.
I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!

A couple of my buddies were going carp shooting. I was busy with family that day so I couldn't go. I asked If they would drop some off so I could use them for bait. We were gone all day and got home late Saturday night so I didn't check the fur shed. Well next morning I went to check the shed. I asked for a few and there had to be 40 carp In the shed. I'm still paying them back for that deal. So be careful In what you ask for. But I did end up with some bait. LOL
Don't know much about mirror carp but those buffalo carp are good pickled and smoked and not to bad for eating.

Monster Buffalo carp in the Missouri River feeder creeks during the runs you an fill a few freezers pretty fast.

Got 3 today before the worms ran out so after a few days off in the middle we caught 102 to about 7 days. If it rains over the weekend it will be crawler hunting time again.
