Ive ran bridger 2 coils #2s and #3s with longer pins and left those on as is with zero problems over many coyote catches. After many seasons I was able to four coil them easily because they already had longer pins in place. I seriously don't recall rebending any spring pins, I'm sure your duke 550s wouldn't be any different. Possible it could happen, not likely in my opinion. Jim Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.
