Believers have been looking forward to the return of Christ since the moment He ascended. I understand looking forward to salvation BUT
Why are christians so concerned about the timing ? Anybody that has read any amount of the apocalyptic scripture
knows what “birth Pangs” look like and the signs of the end times.
It’s said When Jesus returns there will be two men in a field - one will be taken - one will be left.
Also “But of that day and hour no one knows.” Matthew 24:36
So why do people spend so much time trying to figure when he will come ?

I don't feel Christ intended Christians to set around, twiddle our thumbs waiting for the 2nd coming. He directed us to be called to carry a message, not to sit around pointing fingers and judging all in the world that don't to adhere to the actions we feel they should. We consistently read in the Old testament the ebb and flow of the chosen people over generations in their faith and lives. There were many in the desert that wanted to go back to Egypt and be slaves again as security and a home cooked meal were more desirable then freedom and unknown future. I don't feel like many that post here that the world is going to #$%% in a hand basket. Yes there are changes that we find uncomfortable with and a historical order we would like to see and keep. Faith is always a journey and there are many setbacks, road blocks and forks to deal with but in spite of all those challenges, one can deepen their faith and not use our faith to chastise those we feel are going the wrong way. We many times assume that those that don't follow our narrow focus on what Christianity is and will be and that may very well not be true at all.
There is a lot of talk about Biblical illiteracy and I don't disagree with that to a point. However one could attend Sunday School as a youth, attend church services regularly and if we did nothing else we would not have had any exposure or learning from about 85% of the Bible.

Yes he will come again. Each human has the ability to communicate with Christ in their own way at all times. Look for him and you will feel his presence.

Christians shouldn't be quarreling over Scripture but it's worthy to study God's Word in depth as people have done as long as it's been recorded.
I always enjoy discussing Scripture, as we're prescribed to do in fellowship, with other believers that also have Spirit guided help.

The Rapture, in my belief of Scripture, won't have any sign(s), but will happen in the blink of an eye, and with that view I should always aim to live graciously among others until such time. Each tic-toc brings us closer to that instantaneous wonder.

Reading and seeking to better understanding Scripture should always transform the human heart.
After all, God crafted humans with the best brain among the creatures for a very good reason = to use it.

Went for a walk last night while down visiting my daughter in NC. Looking at the expensive homes sitting on the mountainsides and thinking of the false sense of security we Americans have in our affluence. We exist at the mercy of God. It's a precious existence for the unbeliever.

I am not trying to argue or quarrel I’m trying to understand. isn’t the bible full of warnings on the end times? Or things to happen before the rapture? I read these all in chronological order. Revelations is full of warnings as I can tell, wouldn’t you agree ?
