The Pickerel is fattenin up for winter.
Nice fishing hat Hutchy.
Wear that when your down in the keys in case they dont know your a Canuck,lol.

Wear that when your down in the keys in case they dont know your a Canuck,lol. Ya, that fish was 29" exactly. Got a 31" fish too, but wasn't nearly as fat. And i would wear the hat to keep the sun off, but worried it will look like a blonde coon when I get back from.the sun bleaching it!

I caught a 6 pounder with a pot belly like that at Pierre lake years ago. When I unhooked him I noticed the tailfin of what looked like a 1 pounder in his gullet.I pulled it out and the whole fish besides the tailfin was half digested.

Those are some fat walleye. I live on lake Erie so on the States side they're walleye til the get Canadian citizenship then the become pickerel. Lot like the Haitians at the US boader

Hutchy,I was driving near your neck of the woods not long ago and drove by pickerel lake.(a lake I have fished before)Guess what fish is in there?
