I would like a recommendation for a good trail camera to record video at sets. Primarily I would like to get some videos of coyotes working sets and would also like to record some beaver and otter catches.
I'm looking for a good reliable trail cam for video recording, and one that won't spoke a wary coyote at night.
Thanks guys for any input, I know nil about trail cameras.
I ordered one of the GardePro A3. They were on sale on Amazon for $70, and I had a $50 gift card. Before making this post I was already leaning towards the Browning Dark Ops, and it was about $100 more. So I thank you all for pointing out the GardePro brand. We'll see how
We don’t have yotes here so I can’t speak to their response but the cheaper cameras that I use are noticed but don’t really scare other critters away. Moving them off the ground and getting them above seem to minimize them even noticing.
I have used many brands. A few years ago, I switched to all Browning black flash. They have served me well In my business. They are reliable, sturdy, lasting, great photos and videos both day and night. I have many out for me and for customers. They are great!
Clear and close vegetation that may trigger it. Of all of the cameras I’ve used and looked at over the past 15 or so years, I have never seen one with adjustable sensitivity.
Umm, so what's that off of? I've used a pretty good variety of brand name cameras and none have offered a sensitivity adjustment. It obviously exists somewhere, but it's not a common feature. Is it one of the no name cameras or a brand name?
I've had or still have a couple Wildgame cameras. None have that setting. I can't say what models they are, just ones I found in some bargain bin that were too cheap to pass up.
